  • Cartridge Normalization date and list?

At one point I had the answer to these questions.
Does anyone have a list of cartridges that were chosen to be normalized and the date that was set in motion?
    Thank you,

    Tom

    Hello

I have no idea if this is what you are looking for, nor do I know if the list in the link is correct. You will have to scroll down.

Excellent read Peter, I have noticed among my 12 8.15x46r there is a great variation in chambers even those nitro proofed in the 1920s. It makes one wonder if the sharping of a dull normal reamer might be the culprit. I have only one rifle marked normal.
Your and Axel’s knowledge always amazes me.

        Hello

        Mike,

thanks, but I cannot take credit for other people?s research/knowledge. I often read on that forum and I just stumbled upon the list of normalised cartridges and so I put the link up. The only cartridges vis-a-vis their normalisation I knew of before I found the list was the first four ones from 1909/1910. I do not know the poster on the IAA-forum nor am I a member over there.

That was it. Thank you Peter.
I was interested in seeing if the rifle was built after the cartridge was normalized which I believe that it was.
